Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Douro-Dummer will hold a public meeting to consider a proposed amendment to the Township of Douro-Dummer Comprehensive Zoning By-law under Section 34 and Section 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990.

The lands subject to the Application are shown on the key map and are located at 909 Douro Third Line, West Half Part Lot 12, Concession 3 of the Douro Ward and identified by property roll number 1522-010-002-12450 and 904 Douro Second Line, East Half Part Lot 12, Concession 3 of the Douro Ward and identified by property roll number 1522-010-002-12400.  The Application has been initiated by the Township of Douro-Dummer and assigned File Number R-09-24.

Public Hearing:  While the meeting will be held in person, any person wishing to make written and/or oral submissions either in support of or opposition to the proposal is invited to make arrangements to attend the hearing virtually.  In order to make arrangements to attend the virtual (electronic) hearing please contact the Clerk by email at martinac@dourodummer.on.ca no later than 9:00 a.m. on the day of the scheduled public hearing. Although it is possible for members of the public to “attend” a meeting electronically, and provide verbal submissions, we encourage you to communicate with Council by forwarding written comments in support or in opposition to martinac@dourodummer.on.ca.

If you wish to view the public meeting in real time, but do not wish to speak to the application, the meeting will be hosted on the Township’s YouTube Channel.  The meeting will also be recorded and available after the meeting for public viewing on the same platform.
