Parks, Trails and Campgrounds
The Township of Douro-Dummer is home to several parks which feature baseball fields, soccer fields, playground structures, free parking, sitting areas and more. You may also want to visit the Robert Johnston Eco Forest Trails to take a relaxing walk and enjoy nature or explore all the offerings at Warsaw Caves Conservation and Campground.

Back Dam Park |
Location: 902 Rock Road, Warsaw, on the south side of the beautiful Indian River. Amenities:
*Back Dam Park is for day use only, no overnight camping is permitted. |
Douro Parks |
Spanning 151 acres, this magnificent recreational property lines both banks of the beautiful Indian River. Featuring two regulation size softball diamonds and two soccer pitches. Naturalists can enjoy bird-watching, hiking or just strolling through the massive cedars which bring the park to life year-round. Millenium Park & Garden |
Location: 894 South Street, Warsaw The park and garden provide a tranquil setting for weddings and special events. The bountiful gardens feature colourful displays of perennials and annuals from spring to Fall. Amenities:

Location: 910 Water Street, Warsaw (located behind the Warsaw Fire Hall) This local community park features opportunities for young children and youth to enjoy the outdoors. Amenities:

Trails
Robert Johnston EcoForest Trails |
Location: 185 Douro Fifth Line, Douro-Dummer (south of County Road 8) Enjoy approximately 5 km of walking trail. These trails consist of a pond, wetlands, brush piles, beech trees, hardwood forest, white ash, drumlin/red pine forest, rock piles, cedar forest, dog strangling vine and more. |
