Douro-Dummer, ON – The Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place Monday, November 11th, 2024 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Warsaw Cenotaph located at 895 Water Street, Warsaw, ON. The event will take place rain or shine. Those who are walking behind the Colour Party should arrive at the Town Hall no later then 10:45 a.m.

The Township of Douro-Dummer Events Committee invites all community members and guests, including local schools, service groups, traditional wreath carriers and especially veterans, to attend the ceremony.

If you have a wreath that you would like to place at the Cenotaph, you are welcome to do so before or after the official Remembrance Day Ceremony. Light refreshments will be served in the Town Hall after the ceremony and all are welcome to attend.

Please note that the intersection of Mill Street, South Street and Water Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 10:30 a.m. through to the end of the ceremony. A detour will be available via Ford Street, Peterborough Street, Church Street and West Street.
