The Douro-Dummer Public Works Department is seeking proposals from qualified proponents for the supply and delivery of one new (2024) 62,000lb GVWR Cab and Chassis Truck with Front Plow, Wing and All-Season Combination Dump Body/Spreader. The truck will be used for plowing and sanding Township of Douro-Dummer Roads.

The principal objective of this procurement is to efficiently clear and maintain roadways during the winter weather conditions. This includes timely removal of snow and ice to ensure safe and accessible routes transportation routes for the community. The truck is expected to effectively remove snow in harsh weather conditions thereby contributing to public safety and the overall functionality of the road infrastructure during winter season.
