Get ready to celebrate Canada Day with the annual Douro Canada Day Parade, set to take place on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. This year’s parade promises to be a vibrant display of community spirit, with participants and spectators coming together rain or shine.

The parade will kick off at the intersection of County Road 4 and Douro 4th Line, making its way to County Road 8. 

After the parade, everyone is invited to join in a community cake cutting ceremony. Complimentary water and pop will be available, but be sure to grab them while supplies last! Additionally, St. Joseph's CES Douro will be offering freezies for $1 each, or by donation, starting before the parade and continuing until they run out. It’s a perfect way to cool down and support a local school.
