Check if there is a burn ban by visiting dourodummer.burnpermits.com or by calling 1-844-971-1121. Due to the high risk of grassfire in the spring, we encourage all residents with brush to use the disposal sites through out the Township and County, rather than burning.
The Halls Glen Transfer Station is open additional days this week: Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm daily. During this time, Douro-Dummer residents can dispose of brush and spoiled food, free of charge, at the Halls Glen Transfer Station. Please remove packaging on foods before dumping them in the Moloks. Fees still apply for regular garbage disposal, only cash payments are accepted. Please ensure that you bring your Halls Glen Transfer Station card with you!
