The Official Plan provides direction and guidance on how land will be used and provides policy to ensure that future development will meet the needs of the community, while at the same time implementing relevant Provincial legislation. 

Our current Official Plan acts as the local Official Plan for four local Municipalities (including Douro-Dummer), while the remaining four local Municipalities maintain their own Official Plans.

A series of four Public Open Houses will be held, each to consider different sections of the Draft Official Plan. Open Houses will be held electronically using Zoom, and registration is required.
